The RPGA Network®
I spend a huge amount of what once was my free time donating my effort to the RPGA. The RPGA Network is owned and operated by TSR under the aegis of Robert Wiese, the RPGA Network director, Scott Magner, in charge of clubs and the Retailer Program, and Tom Ko, the clerk who fills our orders and enters our points..
Mark Middleton coordinates volunteers, and runs a mailing list that you might be interested in if you're the volunteering sort. Send an email to rpgavolunteers-subscribe@egroups.com to subscribe. If you're not willing to pitch in and help, most people aren't willing to listen to you complain...
This site has been in a constant state of change, improvement and addition since I put it up March 1998. I've beeen trying to pull together everything I can find on the internet relating to the RPGA, its members and their activities. Please email me if there's something you think I should add to these pages.
RPGA In Michigan
I live in Michigan, so of course I'm especially interested in RPGA events in the state of Michigan (or near enough to drive to). Our Regional Director is Jason Nichols, and he's been doing a fine job of rekindling interest in RPGA events in Michigan (and through the 4-state Midwest region of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio). I've set up a web page for Michigan RPGA at http://www.rpga.net/rd/midwest/mi/. For a list of RPG (but not necessarily only RPGA) clubs in Michigan, check my Michigan clubs page. For a listing of all RPGA clubs, you can check the Official RPGA Clubs Listing... though you might find that my RPGA clubs list is a little more current.
I also host RPGA-MI, an announcement-only list for RPGA related events in the state of Michigan. Its features include a calendar, and I've filled it with all of the RPGA events I know of. You will need to create an id with Egroups http://www.egroups.com in order to use the calendar. To subscribe, use the box below:

Campaigns
We're all, after all, role players. RPGA's largest draw is the Living campaigns, where players play the same characters at conventions and game days around the country.
They could not be more wrong.
The Living Jungle is a tournament setting for members of the RPGA. Network. Like its older sister, the Living City, this campaign is designed for players who create their own characters to play at conventions all over the world. These PCs gain levels, treasure, and power with every adventure, just as in a campaign played at home.
Star Wars: Warriors of the Republic, is a worldwide "campaign" for role-playing in the fast-paced, heroic world of Star Wars. Players may begin characters and advance them through tournament play, or may play the Star Wars events with pre-generated characters provided. The campaign will be primarily episodic, though some authors may write linked adventures. No continuity in or development of the main Star Wars universe will occur in this endeavor.
Between the cracks of this world fall the Shadowrunners, nameless and unidentifiable, sought after, yet despised by the corporations who hire them to do their dirty work. Their only true stock in trade is their untracability in a world where everyone is a number in the machine.
If you have the edge it takes to run the shadows, read on
The Official RPGA Virtual Seattle site
Wes' site has the current official rules, but there is still
useful information at the RPGA site, including some primed runners
(ready to use character templates).
The Virtual Seattle Index This page belongs to Wes Nicholson, the Regional Director for the Virtual Seattle campaign. This is the place to look for the current scoop on the campaign.
