Mailing Lists
RPGANEWS
This list has periodic announcements from HQ, Cisco (the rules guy), Dan Donnelly (RD for the Living City Campaign), Wes Nicholson (RD for the Virtual Seattle Campaign) and Claire Hoffman (RD for the Living Death Campaign), to name a few.
Messages sent by others to the list will either be forwarded to the proper person or politely returned - it is not a discussion list. You must be an RPGA member to belong - expect your subscription request to have a response asking for your RPGA number.

The "Breen" Lists
To subscribe to the regular version of a list include the words "subscribe listname" in the BODY of your message, where listname is the name of the particular list you wish to subscribe. To subscribe to the digest version of a list use "subscribe digest" instead of just "subscribe". To unsubscribe, substitute the word unsubscribe for the word subscribe in the message. Do not include the word "digest" in your unsubscribe message, and do not include quotation marks in any message.
If you wish to switch from the digest version to the regular version or vice versa, just subscribe to the new version. The list server software will automatically unsubscribe you from the other version. If you change email addresses you'll need to unsubscribe from the old account (that is, send the unsubscribe message with that account) and then subscribe from the new account.
Here are the lists currently available.
For discussion of all topics relating to the RPGA and/or of interest to RPGA members, including convention notices, discussion of modules, RPGA policies, LIVING Campaigns, and gaming in general as it relates to the RPGA. The digest is triggered when the total mail volume reaches 32k of text or on the last day of the month regardless of volume. Archives are available at http://rpga.org/RPGA-Talk/archives.html and also at http://www.netspace.org/cgi-bin/lwgate/RPGA-TALK/archives/.
This list is for IN CHARACTER discussion between and among Living City player characters. I've delegated the task of running the NPC workers in the "Night Haven" tavern to Roger Rhodes under the guidelines I've provided him. There is no digest available for this list because the transitory nature of the discussions would make such a digest too slow to be of value to any participant. (There IS a digest, but it comes out only once a month regardless of volume, is in MIME format, and is only created so that I can archive the discussions for my own records.)
This is a brand new list set up for the discussion of issues related to the Procampur setting in the Living City campaign. The list is currently unmoderated, but it may become a moderated "private sub- scriber" list at Jay Fisher's option. Currently the digest is set to be delivered every day at 2:00 AM (Pacific Time) or whenever the volume of messages reaches 32k.
Another brand new list, this one is for discussion of matters relating to the Bard's Guild in Ravens Bluff. This list will feature mostly OUT of character discussion on issues such as regional representation, expanding the various portions of the Bard's College and the new Fellowships, ways to support interactives and smaller conventions, and so forth. All interested players of Bard characters are encouraged to sign up for this list.
