RPGACON Convention Coordinators Mailing List
RPGACON is not an official mailing list of the RPGA Network - it is a privately run mailing list for the benefit of RPGA Network convention and event coordinators.

Welcome to RPGACON, a mailing list devoted to making connections between the organizers of role-playing conventions, especially those featuring games from the RPGA Network.

Think of this as a friendly, coffee-shop kind of place, where convention organizers can sit down, have a cuppa and check with their peers about what's coming up in conventions throughout their area. A lot of us share the same people, and it only makes sense to maximize the fun for the players and attendance for us, the organizers.

Please show the same basic courtesy you would in face-to-face discussions. Please do NOT quote all or most of the message you're responding to - it wastes bandwidth and I'll have to chop it out of the archives (which I guarantee you I hate).

This is not the place to send jokes, unsolicited commercial email (ie SPAM), chain letters or anything else *except* discussion of the events we're planning, the people and problems therein. I do want it to be somewhat of a support group - some of you have been doing this for years, others are brand new at it. The old hands have knowledge to share - the newbies have fresh ideas. We can all benefit!

This is a text-based list, which means that fancy-formatted mail (RTF, HTML, special fonts, sound files, images, etc.) will be wasted on it (and will just tick most of the subscribers off).

The subscription request will be sent to me and I'll add new subscriptions as soon as I can.

Only list members may post to the list; this cuts down on unsolicited email and other troubles. If you know of someone who simply wants an announcement to go to the list, have them send it to rpgacon-request@drycas.club.cc.cmu.edu
