I've got two things coming your way. :) First, I've got this new race I just developed, that I'd like to see put through the wringer... Opinions and comments, please. One of these Caldorians I am going to place into my campaign (the Icy Star), and am going to weave a strong storyline, reminiscent of that in the movies, for the Jedi in the group to tackle himself on. If anyone's interested, I'll post it here too. The next message has got all the stats I collected for the month of May. Tell me what you think... If you want me to, I'll do it again for June, and every month forthcoming. But, this message first. :) Alien Race - Caldorians ======================= [-] Caldorians -------------- Attribute Dice: 12D Attrivute Minimum/Maximums: DEXTERITY 2D/5D KNOWLEDGE 1D/4D MECHANICAL 1D/4D PERCEPTION 2D/5D STRENGTH 2D/4D TECHNICAL 1D/4D Special Abilities: Force Sensitivity: Caldorians have a very strong affinity with the Force, and all Caldorians are Force-Sensitive. Sense, Control and Alter only require half the amount of character points and time to train. Learning new Force powers only require three character points, instead of five. Force Shield: Caldorians are able to conjure a shield which is able to extend ten meters in length, and seven meters in height, through the nature of the Force. However, in order to activate it, the Caldorian must NOT do anything for one entire round, and in order for proper activation, the Caldorian must make either a Difficult Perception roll, or a moderate Control roll, and a moderate Alter roll. The shield itself will stay in place for six rounds, and may only be used once every thirty-six hours. If activated properly, the shield is able to deflect any physical or energy attacks, up to and including 8D Capital Scale. Anything greater than that, and the shield collapses, and the user takes full damage. Story Factors: Calm and Controlled: Caldorians have a very strong adherance to the code of the Jedi, and it's code. In addition, they are very able to control their anger, and there is rarely ever a show of negative emotions (such as sadness, guilt, and foremost, anger). On the other hand, the Dark Force-users are completely the opposite -- They rarely show any positive emotions. Strong Force Users: Caldorians protected the first Galactic Republic thousands of years ago, and were among the strongest protectors of the Light-side of the Force during the time period. However, there have been many powerful Dark Side Force Users as well, and several were high- ranking members of the Sith brotherhood. Small Remains: During the time of the movies and novels (ANH and beyond), there are only a handful of them surviving. Most died at the hands of the Emperor and Darth Vader, however, those that did survive, escaped to a world yet unknown to the Empire, and that of the Alliance. However, there are still two Caldorians that roam the Galaxy, in hopes of finding Jedi, to defeat the Empire and restore the peace of the Republic. Move: 10/12 Size: 1.2-2.0 meters Right... Tell me what you think. :) Barry
