Ok folks, you asked for it, ya got it (or at least half of it)  I'm posting
the background stuff and the plot line in this one, and the stats I have
yet to get.

Planet - Trafalegador
Run on a fuedal system, with various warlords and dukes holding most of the
political clout

The "trafs" are tall, humanoid people, dark hair with a stripe of white
down the middle, and, mostly among the aristocrats, a double set of fangs,
the outer larger than the inner.

The Vamps showed up in pre-clone war times, as powerful "dark ones" who
gained power from the dark energies released by violent death. (mostly by
ripping out the throat)  The locals still to this day wear certain flowers
that supposedly ward off attacks.  The last known Vampire, who is the
relative of the current Duke Orloch, was vanquished around the time of the
clone wars by a "white knight" (obviously a jedi) and their whole religion
is based upon this story and savior.

The Plot - 2years after Endor

-our group drops off political papers to a local representative of the Republic

-The planet is currently neutral, but is being "courted" by the various
powers in the galaxy, and for a job well done, we got invited to one of the
"grand balls" being hosted in Duke Orloch's castle for the delegates

-Several of the delegates, and few other important people, have been killed
it would seem, by a vampire, which makes the political scene rather
unpleasant.  All of those killed were also desendants of force users.

-The castle is a huge black structure built on a rocky island in the ocean,
connected only to the mainland by a 4 person wide causway.

-Of course, a storm came up and submerged the bridge, trapping everyone
inside for the duration (go figure!) And to make matters worse, our
favorite adversary, Captain Wolf Onyx of the ISD Warspite was one of the
delegates. (though he was there under-cover due to the Republic presence)

Well, to make a long story short, we blackmailed him by threatening to blow
his cover, got him to help us hunt down the throatslashing murderer (we
found dead stormtroopers in the catacombs, which could only be entered by
tripping a latch in a library wall with the Force)  and found the coffin
and beheaded remains of the "Dark Duke" along with some of those
force-sensing paddles.(so it was not him come back from the dead) The
paddles were later stolen by someone.

We also tracked footprints found in the catacombs, which ended up belonging
to the Grand Inquisitor Tremane (another of our buddies...NOT!)  Who we
then got into a smash down, drag out battle in Duke Orloch's bedchamber
with (and we almost lost, and he got away). The Duke, (being quite the
party animal, we last saw him swinging from the chandaliers) was passed out
cold through the entire battle, even when Tremane mowed down 4 of us with
the bed he was sleeping on.(this means it wasn't him either, though he's a
desendant of the dark one)

Well, we're currently heroes for saving Orloch's life, but we still haven't
found out who was ripping out throats (obviously not tremane, he wouldn't
kill his own troopers). I'll let you know if we find the murderer.
