EDorland@aol.com "...I've seen a lot of strange stuff..." -Han Solo -------------------------------------------- Trus Attribute Dice: 13D Attribute Min/Max: Dexterity 3D/ 5D Knowledge 2D/ 4D Mechanical 1D/ 2D Perception 2D+1/ 4D Strength 2D+1/ 4D+2 Technical 1D/ 2D Move: 0/ 100* Length: 0.1-10 meters* Weight: 100-200 kilograms Quote: "This Jedi shall make a fine meal." *Because of the Trus shape shifting abilities the Move and Length of a Trus can be anywhere between the the minimum and maximum, depending on the shape it has assumed. The weight, however, is always between 100 and 200 kilograms. Special Skills: Dexterity Skills: Shape Shift. Time to use: one round. This skill gives a Trus the ability to change forms. The difficulty is based on how difficult the form being assumed is. Example: A rock would be an Easy roll, an R2 unit is a Moderate roll and a humanoid is a Difficult roll. Almost any form can be assumed between 10 centimetres and 10 meters in size. If the Trus fails a shape shift roll it will still shift but its disguise will look fake and unconvincing. Each person the Trus encounters will be allowed to make a Perception roll to see through the disguise. Difficulty is based how badly it was failed: Roll failed by: Perception difficulty: 1-3 Moderate 4-7 Easy 8+ Very Easy When the Trus makes a successful transformation he looks, sounds and feels exactly like the object he is trying to imitate. He also receives its Move and Length and its means of locomotion (If he shifts into something that can fly he can fly also). It also receives any physical weapons the object or being has (for example, claws or teeth) and they do the same damage. It does not receive any of the other special abilities or the attribute dice or skill dice the object might possess. The Trus will not smell or taste like object it is emulating. It can not change into a functional weapon or other complex machinery (He can make himself look like a thermal detonator but he'll never explode). The Trus has to have seen the thing he is trying to emulate to emulate it. The Trus' natural state is a liquid puddle with a Move of 10 and a Length of 1 meter. Strength Skills: Brawling: Force Stun. Time to use: one round. this attack causes no damage. A hit opponent cannot use Force skills for the rest of the round and the next round. All "up" powers are immediately dropped. This skill takes normal character points to improve instead of half. This skill does not count under the Brawling skill. When you start improving this skill it starts out as half your Brawling skill rounded up. Special Abilities: Skin: Trus skin provides +1D to resisting physical attacks but -2D to resisting energy attacks. If a Trus takes wounded or worse damage by electricity he reverts into his natural state for 3D+1 minutes (Blasters are not electrical, neither are lightsabers). Force Sense: Add +3D to search skill if the thing being searched for is strong in the Force. Force Consumption: Any incapacitated or mortally wounded character of all their Force abilities in one hour. If interrupted no Force powers are drained. The Trus needs to drain this Force to survive. Each dice of Force ability drained gives them 3 months of survival time and each plus gives them one month. Example: A Jedi has control 2D+2, sense 1D+1 and alter 3D. If drained he would give a Trus 21 months of survival time. If its survival time runs out the Trus dies immediately. Capsule: These creatures have hunted the Jedi throughout the centuries for its own survival. These creatures almost became extinct during Palpatine's reign, they are rare throughout the galaxy and often disguise themselves as ordinary people to avoid being discovered. They usually have little contact with others of their species and like to lure young Jedi into elaborate traps to be consumed. A little known fact is that some of them were hired by Palpatine to annihilate the Jedi during the Purge. Note: It is strongly suggested that players not be allowed to play Truses.
