Date: Mon, 13 Mar 1995 23:50:10 -0600 (CST) From: Christopher Novosad Subject: Dark Trooper Stat Test I've been toying with stats for the Dark Forces ships and such for a campaign I'm designing to plague my players with. Anyway, I wanted to get opinions, suggestions, criticisms, and even flames!! on these before I flesh these suckers out further. I based my ideas on the concept that these are dedicated war droids. They excell at two to three things and that's it. On the one hand they are incredibly deadly, on the other it gives them exploitable weaknesses (though I don't think any spoilers follow). I gave them First Aid on the Terminator premise that a war droid should know where to hit. Their height is a guess from using the "red light" and "looking" at them (to me they are wookie sized and taller). As a guess, they should be extremely deadly in a fight to all but a PC with a beefy Personal Shield Device (see Dark Empire Sourcebook -- the Imperial Vizier's got one) and a big gun. Dark Forces RPG Stats Dark Troopers Being one of the highest ranking officers of the Department of Military Research, Mhoc saw his chance to obtain funding for his pet project, code named Dark Trooper.
