Here is a gladiator droid I designed the other day.  I don't know of any
books dedicated to droids so I just used the 2nd ed. rulebook and my
imagination.  Please let me know how you like it.  -Eric Lee Cline

   Eight segmented legs
   Four arms
   Grenade launcher (variable grenades, range 1-5/10/20, stores 5 grenades),
    right shoulder mounted
   Lightsaber (right arm #2, 5D damage, difficult)
   Old-fashioned slugthrower (3D damage, range 1-5/20/30, left arm #2, 20 ammo)
   Two five-digit hands
   Sword (STR+2D+1 damage, moderate, strapped to back)
   Vibro-axe strapped to back
   Force pike strapped to back

This is an extremely popular droid in the battle pits of Krinaron (a planet
I designed).  It is designed for general fighting.  The lightsaber
attachment is a special bonus (KD won't reveal how they get lightsabers for
their droids).  On Krinaron and much of the rest of the galaxy this droid
is illegal.

Cost: 30,000 credits (you get what you pay for)

note: I didn't put the stats for the vibro-weapons here.  Just look them up.
