damage & damage resistance purposes only, for 1 rd of close combat. Does not include armour or weapon strength but only user's STR statistic. Alter Powers: Haste Alter Difficulty : Heroic Allows user to take twice as many actions as normal within the time frame of 1 rd(ie 2 full attacks, 4 attacks with 1 die knocked off each, etc). Mindblast Alter Difficulty : Moderate against humanoids, Heroic otherwise Target of a successful mindblast must make a Heroic willpower roll or be stunned for 1 rd & at -3D to all actions afterwards until after the next time the target rests for 6 hours or more. Control & Alter Powers: Chain Lightning Control Difficulty : Moderate Alter Difficulty : Very Difficult Similar to Force lightning, except that the lightning may "leap" from one target to the next, doing damage equal to user's Alter dice to first target & losing one die of damage per extra target (ie 8D on first target, 7D on second, 6D on third etc)until either damage reaches 0D or user runs out of targets. Cannot target same person twice in one round. Wielder does not receive a Dark Side point. Absorb/dissipate energy may be used to reduce damage from this power, otherwise there is no defence if the user succeeds in both Control & Alter rolls. Teleport Control Difficulty : Difficult Alter Difficulty : Heroic User may teleport himself/herself up to 1,000 km in a straight line using the Control difficulty alone, or may take up to 10 companions (all must be touching)using both Control & Alter difficulties. User does not need to know the destination, merely distance & direction, but will die if he teleports inside a solid object such as a wall. Control, Sense & Alter Powers: Vortex Control Difficulty : Heroic Sense Difficulty : Heroic Alter Difficulty : Heroic User creates a cloud similar to a Force storm, but anything within the area of effect is sucked physically into the Warp(the domain of the Chaos Gods & their demons)& may bodily encounter such beings. Travel through a vortex is one way only(no escape once caught).User must make fresh Heroic rolls every round to maintain control of vortex. If in control user may dissipate vortex at will. If user loses control of vortex it will enlarge for a random number of rounds(GM discretion),then collapse on its original invoker(sucking him bodily into the Warp)& then dissipate. This is a very dangerous power & only used by Librarians under extreme circumstances(ie as a last resort when one Librarian is facing several Screamer-Killers). That's it...hope you like this lot!!!
