This looks like a fun toy, but rather expensive, and I wonder about the
plausability of building tiny sabres.  That is, unless the gun/firing device
is large, like say the size of a repeating blaster.

But anyway, I had an idea along these lines.  I had a character stuck in a
dark jedi training facility, and he wanted to get out.  He didn't have
enough parts to build a lightsaber or blaster, but he had enough parts from
each to build some kind of bastardized sabre-blaster.  The end result was a
blaster that fired a blast of energy reminicient of a sabre blade.  The
downside was with no continuing powersource like in a normal sabre, the
blade lost coherence after only a short distance.  It was great for burning
through locks and doing other such close range things, but at longer ranges
it was more of a light show.  Concievably, if your blaster skill was high
enough, you *could* fire a sabre-bolt at a regular blaster bolt to deflect
it(and normal sabre blades also, for that matter, as the blast _is_ a sabre
blade in itself).

Type: Highly modified heavy blaster(any other type, aside from larger
	rifles, could not handle the power output)

Skill: Blaster, Sabre-blaster
Ammo: 7 shots using a standard energy cartridge, Unlimited(for the most
	part) using a normal lightsabre power source
Availability: 4X
Cost: Dunno, never tried to sell one, probably expensive since it is made
	with lightsabre parts and a lightsabre crystal
Fire Rate: 1
Range: 2-3/15/25
Damage: 5D at ranges 2-3, as range increases, bolt loses integrity, so at
	range 25 damage is 1D(bolt still as sabre qualities, but lessend).  
	Past 25, the bolt breaks up too much to be dangerous.

Well, any thoughts?
