Forearm Grapple Launcher Construction Skill: Missile Weapons Repair Difficulty to build: Difficult Operation: Missile Weapons: Forearm Grapple Launcher Range: 3/15/50 Difficulty to hide: +10 Effect: Magnetic grappling hook housed in forearm fires out and either latches onto a surface, penetrates it with a piercing bore, or wraps itself around an outcropping. It reels in with a STR of 6D. Metal surfaces are easier to latch onto; +1D to missile weapons. Curved or edged surfaces are more difficult to latch onto; -1D to missile weapons. To wrap around outcroppings, +1D to difficulty. Can be used to melee parry. It does so at a level of 6D/4D+2/3D+1. This roll acts as a Hide roll, against all Search/Perception rolls that are aided by sound. On a successful attack with the ring, it does 6D blinding damage. The exact effect of blindness is up to the GM to decide. Passes through all weapons and energy scanners with ease.
