On Friday 1st Matteo Migliavacca in Italy(!) wrote to me, Matthew (Exar
Kun) Easton, asking me if I could re-post my Bow/Crossbow rules, so here
they are :


       LONGBOW             4D+1     3-12/13-25/26-45/46-80/81-150
       RECURVE SHORTBOW    3D+2     3-13/14-35/36-60/61-90/91-190
       BOW                 3D+1     3-10/11-35/36-60/61-80/81-130
       LIGHT CROSSBOW      4D       2-15/16-40/41-90/91-120/121-180
       HEAVY CROSSBOW      5D     2-15/16-42/43-110/111-180/181-250
      The 5 catagories go: Easy,Mod,diff,v.diff,heroic.The ranges are in metres.
     - A heavy x-bow should only be able to be shot every third round(due to the
     process of having to wind back the bow etc..), and a light crossbow can
     only be shot once every round.
     - All the other bows should only be able to shoot once a round as well.

     As for the comment on having to be strenght 4D to load a heavy x-bow, WHY ?
     A heavy x-bow is loaded using a mechanical devise called a windlass, which
     is slow but requires minimal strength.
