I've always been a big fan of fisticufs- be it Jackie Chan or Indy and the Bald Nazi going at it. However in SW, two good swings and the foe goes down. This is not intresting. So, I propose a slight re-working of the damage rules: Normaly it goes dazed (I've been caling it that to avoid the stunned or shot on stun and stunned confusion) Wounded Incapaitated All Messed Up What I do is, when someone is using a blunt object- a fist, stick, chair, whathave you, non-letal damage starts occuring. Basicly you have to mortaly wound someone (with non-lethal damage) to knock them out. Something like: Brawl dazed (-1D for round) brawl wounded (-1D for rest of combat) brawl incapatitated (-2D for combat) brawl mortal wound (target is knocked out) Then you get into the real damage table wound incapacitate all messed up You still can kill a guy with a stick or your fists, you just have to go around the damage list once. What do you think?
