Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Priority: normal * Lets start putting some stuff together for Expanded Damage Charts. The first * thing I think we need to do is collect a whole bunch of "Star Ship hull * Integrity...you have 3D rounds before the ship bursts like a trillion bunny on * helium" type stuff. Okay... Here's my first shot, see if its what we're thinking. I'm just gonna list a bunch of bad things that might happen then we can classify them (into lightly, heavily damaged, etc...) later. Each will probably have consequences we can also list them (if not obvious) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- STARFIGHTER scale ships - Landing gear fused shut. - Resirator Consumables leaking, leaving a trail of O2. - Weapon attachment locked toward your ship. (another shot will hit yourself) - Internal gravity units destroyed. - External venting system closed/damaged. (over heating wil happen quickly) - Comm systems damaged, you can only recieve. - Scanning systems damaged, they read constant multiple dangers. (could be locked into a game program) - Carbon scoring has blackened cockpit viewports. (flying on sensors alone) - System damaged, all external lights on high- blinking rapidly. (they can be spotted easy) - Hyperdrive Computer damaged, will only plug in at x4. - Astrogation Computer damaged, it resets as calculations are finished, before the course is laid... do it again... - Drive units damaged- ion engines full acceleration... - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Those are off the top of my head. See what you think then we can change or add more... thanks -kevin- Modern technology owes ecology an apology.
