                                Droids Revolt!!!!!!!!!!

        Kessel: Earlier this week a revolt of droids was stopped, by a band
of "free lance traders." The group apparently owns a small asteroid
base, on the outskirts of the Kessel sector. According to our sources,
 the group's mechanic, a man by the name of Aremag Dour, accidently
put the wrong circuit chips in a droid he was repairing. The droid,
was to help repair other droids. While nobody was at the base, the
droid, an X-D6 series, reprogrammed ALL of the droids. The droids
revolted, trashing the entire base, causing over one-hundred thousand
credits in damages. Then they boarded shuttles, and headed out to the
planet of Kessel. They were stopped by Moruth Dooles forces, and were
told to stop or be boarded. When Doole's forces boarded the shuttles,
the droids opened fire, with blasters, threw medical needles, and
caused mechanical damage, to stop the boarding crews. Doole lost 21
men, during the attack. On one smaller shuttle, the Flashfire, only
one droid was found, and he apparently was short-circuited. He was
running around screaming "Oh my, I'm only the little Corellian made
dancy droid, dancing all day and dancing all night, find it all in a
little vaccum of space, left out Gamorrians are a smelly race!!!!
Hydrospanners, and Wookiee hairs, left in the refresher, die in space
'cause of the pressure! Why can't I be left alone in this galaxy?
without a bartender's hairy glasses, and old dewback a**es. Where oh
where did my little recording rod go? oh where oh where could it be???
 with it's message cut short, and it's encoding cut long, oh where oh
where could it be???" over and over and over again.

        Manson Lev, and Kruz Mantell, the owners of the "trading ring", came
to Kessel, minutes too late, they lost all of the droids, except the
droid with the short circuit. They convinced Doole, to give back all
but 4 of the shuttles. Mr. Lev, and Mr. Mantell, are heroes of the
later Rebel Alliance, and the early New Republic. Mr. Lev is a
decorated fighter pilot, with a 2nd place record, only next to Wedge
Antilles', with Imperial Star Destroyers kills, he currently has 10!
Mr. Mantell, is an accomplished diplomat, having brought 3 races, and
5 corporations to the New Republic. They expressed dissatisfaction,
with Mr. Dour's forgetfullness, and Mr. Dooles' aggressiveness and
ruthlessness.

        It is believed that if Moruth Doole's forces hadn't stopped the
droids, they could've taken over Kessel! After investigating the
droid revolt leader's memory chips, the faulty chip was linked to
Hollwen Laboratories, the same Laboratories, that made the infamous
IG assasin series. The Laboratories, have been abandoned for over 5
years now, which makes investigators even more curious about this.

        We'll have more details as this story unfolds

GM SCOPE::

This is a story about an adventure that my PCs toke place in about a
year ago. When Kevin was talking about droids revolting, it reminded
me about that adventure, and i decided to write this up.
