But in the more influencial circles this game has become annusence & in one instance... Deadly! Less than ten years ago a small company called WSG (west sector games) once popular for its edits to personal gaming tables & strategic simulators began marketing a little known game called Goblyns & Gunslingers. This game didn't rely on technology & holotrancievers for action & adventure but rather, focused on a simple set of sylized rules, a few number cubes & the imaginations of youth... Then the children new little of the Rebellion, the Empire or any such galactic struggle- No, they knew of stories relayed to them through the Ithorian Holovids or perhaps camp fire "darkside" stories. & with those stories their imaginations sparked the growing phenominon of the G&G Realm. What would stop them from "becoming" archaic slugthrower toting BanthaPokes or the little magic Fae or Sprite Goblyns? Nothing... But that was then, Legislation on dozens of worlds have latched onto the lone artical telling the sad tale of five young cadets at the Jardeen IV Imperial Training facility. Only six monthes ago Quinn ArBrie led his G&G troupe into the forrested cliff faces near their barracks for a "field trip" game they planned to hold in the tunnels. The troupe never came back... The remains of their bodies were discovered along side a G&G DataRule Pad & several mock props of archaic slugthrowers & Fae face paints... They had been mawed by what is guessed to be Rancors. This incident has spread fear & hate toward a simple game, that is now under fire from many Governments including both Imperial & Republic directors... The Cross/Sector remains unbiased as possible in this case but offers new evidence found in the DNA of all but one of the five cadets... the spice known as glitterstim. Investigations are leading to uncover facts of known drug use amongst the Academy Cadets & all legal suites have been dropped toward WEG. Is this childhood innocense mixed with dealings of drug & abuse? Or the stain of a game that opens our youth's minds to dream & hope that is so often lost in our galaxy? We will let you decide. "...time will tell & so will we... This has been Arriot Fuches reporting for the Cross/Sector..." ______________________________________________________________________ "Banned by the Empire & loving every minute of it!!" ********************************************************************** ______________________________________________________________________ GM Scoop...
