The Imperial Intelligence Division intercepted a message from one of its operatives who had infiltrated the Rebellion. He was situated at the training camp of Gorphir III, a large jungle planet in the Beinar Sector. The transmission was cut off short but the planet was believed to hold several training camps, stockpiles and a small starship base. A strikeforce was mustered and led by Admiral Zaarin, commanding the ISD's Nightwing and Longreach and they assaulted the planet with the full compliment of ground troops each ISD carried. Unfortunately the trainees seemed to have been forewarned and the assaults were met with considerable resistance. The groundbase fighters led a diversionary attack on the Star Destroyers to let the transports through, due to the heroic attempts of a small group of ground forces the Rebels got away fairly well unharmed. Just another example of Imperial Incompitance.... . . . . . This is Calog Tal'Zar with the rest of your news ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GMScoop: Whoever suggested the training camp idea for new players-thanks a lot it really worked! It managed to give my newbie players a good sense of the rules and how to play. They managed to rescue some soldiers and fight off a few TIE's and did pretty well. A Question-My game seem very stilted-I was losing track of where things were going, what was happening, what rules to use...Has anyone got any advice to stop this happening? PS My characters are= Leon Rhieader (Ex-Imp Commando), Sozat Dei'Lan (Bothan Infiltrator) and Quelclan (Alien Bounty Hunter) (and their droid friend Glitch) Thanks a lot Matt Francis rkf@globalnet.co.uk 'Never trust the Grand Vizier...'
