Imperial sources say that the elevator short-circuited and plummented from the 29th floor. Apparantly, the security squad inside the elevator were all killed. Authorities have denied allogations of Rebel terrorists, and stress that this incident has no commonalities with a shooting at the Hotel Delhporia late last night. Film at eleven. GM Notes Last year, I ran an assassination mission with my group, which at that time was a Rebel Spec Force Ops Team. They had to kill Commander Ayala, who was the engineer in charge of the second design of the Death Star. So, they snuck on to Coruscant, and broke into a hotel that Commander Ayala was in. After raiding it, they escaped with information that Commander Ayala was inside the Imperial Palace in the 29th floor luxury suites. So, they broke into the palace through the sewer system, and made their way up to the floor. Amazingly only one of them died. While the rest were checking rooms on the 29th, two of my players (a coynyte and a merc) set up an E-Web by the elevator door. During the fray, the elevator door opened, and one of my PC's opened up with the repeater and killed two ST's, and damaged the elevator so badly that it dropped. They then had to repel down the elevator shaft to the nearest docking bay. Where they actually made it out. Suicide Squad Bob "Every man dies.
