WAVE OF DESTRUCTION

The myriad of clans collected in the Charis System, "Species War"
came to an abrupt halt today as the shadow of the Empire fell on a
world that had previously been handled by System Governors.
The war of the large planet of Charis in the Charis System had raged
for more than 80 years, with several stages of warfare.  In the days
when the Glorious Old Republic governed a galaxy the wars began &
ravaged generations of the many Races & Species found on the
broken continents.  For those years the Republic Company of the Jedi
attempted negotiations of peace several times with varying degrees of
succuess.  All of the 24 individual races, species & cultures viaed
for land & rights to a world with no advanced technologies.  A mass
transplant of at least 6 of those species were attempted each with
disastorous end, with releif efforts being raided & for the most part
destroyed.  Through over half of those years the planetary technology
advanced in spurts with little above an industrial age level, until
recently.  When Imperial Rule claimed the majority of the Kathol
Sector the planet of Charis was left relatively untouched due to the
negotiation efforts of the DeMongg Syndicate.
The fledgling organization began its stride to one of the largest
Hutt organisations spanning the OuterRim Territories with a unique
partnership developed by then Imperial Moff Sarne & DeMongg the Hutt.
The agreement gave the Hutt authorization to use the warring "lesser
beings" of Charis in a mass gladitorial-like combat called
"Charissian Gladiator Wars" that the Hutt would holovid & merchandise
in every cantina & wager houses within his reach.  The Imperial Moff
didnot sanction this but did "look the other way" as well as support
the DeMongg Syndicate as the Kathol's definative source for virtually
anything & included DeMongg on the Moff's council. This all ended
with the Retaking of the Kathol by Sarne's Command just 2 years ago
when all ties were severed to indipendent contractors. The "CGW" was
an enormous success & can still be seen in reruns.
Of late select Charis clan species recieved vessels & instruction on
operating & repair by Sarne's Flagship Commander Admiral Director
Vost Tyne.  More than 50 Z-24 HeadHunters were accepted by the clans
allowing them to come to power over the last 7 monthes.  Appartently
previous rumors of Treason among Sarne's flagship caused need for the
hand of WarLord Sarne's Empire to reestablish its dominance of fear,
to prempt any of those rumors of treason to bring about contact with
the dis-loyal Imperial Officers.  This is still unconfirmed.
Needless to say virtually all warring has ceased on Charis, with
fractured resistance from the inhabitants...  Reminiscent of Gandle
Ott.
