After the shocking news of Rebel destruction of unarmed Imperial
medical research station at Yavin 4 two months ago, another news of
Rebel atrocities is brought to you by GWNN!

Two days ago Rebel strike was aimed at peaceful Verpine colonies in
Roche asteroid belt. During the evacuation of two hives, Korpil and
Slayn, the Rebels attacked transports which carried Verpines. Before
Imperial forces were able to intervene, they managed to destroy over
half of the population - the most notorious Rebel murderer, one Mark
Hamill, is responsible for the destruction of four civilian passenger
transports and death of over four thousand of Verpines - almost all of
the Korpil hive's population. He also managed to lightly damage one
Imperial ship before escaping into hyperspace.

The Rebel terrorists were presumably trying to obtain technical
components required to repair damaged space vessels.

Also, due to possibility of biological terrorism by the Rebels, the
Roche asteroid belt is currently under quarantine. No ship may
approach the system without obtaining Imperial permit.

GM Notes: this is the work of DGG 24. (Currently DGB 16) Also, the
only ship destroyed by Mark Hamill was the Nebulon-B frigate
commanded by Captain Nothos...
But then, Imperial propaganda is not exactly what you could call a
well of truth and wisdom...
