HoloNews-    the Galactic Cross-Sector   (INCOMM-OR subsidiary)

Riots in the Merchant Square erupted shortly after the trial of local
Imperial Govenor Tegis Byrg creating a panic focused most directly on
the widely popular Orchid Galactic Inn & Sector renoun Restaraunt.
Known commonly as a "gangsters paradise" the Orchid has also quitely
changed hands during the trial. It is unknown if incidents such as
the trial or the new ownership spawned the crimes.  Local members of
the swoop gang known as the "Skulls" have been largely the cause of
the riots & the desicration of Ivatch's famed hotel. Local
authorities claim other memebers of Skull gang members have joined
their counter-parts on Ivatch, but this reporter has been lead to
believe very little contact between the different factions of the
Skulls from different worlds is the standard.
Fortunatly for the new owners the growing influence of the New
Republic on Ivatch has held off most of the recent attacks, as
reported from Lt. Writ Tsall of the NR ambassadorship-  "Well as you
know I ain't been with this outfit long but I'll say one thing, that
damn Twilek in yonder's (point toward the Inn) got his $#!+ together,
I mean that little mother %&#$@! has already set up the regrand-
freakin'-openin',  & well I gots myself an invite & no date. What'cha
say little lady, you-n-me ..."
& yes those reports are true, in fact the Twi'lek called Loh'Khar has
sponsored these segments with advertisements for the Orchid's re-
grandopening under the new named the "Loh'KhariYaunt"...
For further developements & an exclusive with swoop gang member Agog,
Rodian of the Brolsam Sphere's Skull gang tune it to our later
edition.

I run a campaign based on much of the info from the DarkStryder
campaign, in which Ivatch is a planet in the Kathol Sector. My PCs
aided the small NR ambassador in a raid on the Corrupt Imperial
Ambassador/Governor when they found enough information to warrent a
trial. Writ Tsall is a big fat hairy human with a huge bull-like nose
ring who was asked to aid the PCs & the Rebels in the raid because he
knew much of the layout, after the raid he was given the rank of Lt
for excellence in aid. Governor Bryg was aquitted but drummed out of
office, a NR ambassador replaced him. The swoop gang was put into
action by the DeMongg Syndicate, an organization rivaling Jabba's or
Black Sun, In the extreme OuterRim, because the Orchid was
bought out from under DeMongg the Hutt leader of DSyndicate...
