  At the compound of one Talon Karrde, Kuat Drive Yards was having a private
showing of their new AT-PM walker. The AT-PM (or All Terrain Personal Mech)
is an update of the ancient AT-PT. According to one Kuat representative, "The
AT-PM was going to be a leap ahead for personal walker technology. We were
touting it to the New Republic as well as private businesses." Among the
businesses present was the fledgling Oz-Tech, a personal weaponry
manufacturer stationed on Dantooine. Just before the demonstration was to
begin, the AT-PMs were hijacked and rampaged through the crowd. Of the five,
2 were destroyed while the other three boarded a Corellian YT-1300 freighter
that landed seconds later. It was a well laid out plan of espionage and
treachery. New Republic Intelligence is on the lookout, and working with
local law enforcement to find those responsible. "Those were the only five
AT-PMs we had. It's back to the drawing board," commented the Kuat
representative.

GM NOTES:
The PCs had recently... ahem... "inherited" a wealthy sum of 20billion
credits standard (before taxes...), and they decided to start a company that
they called "Oz-Tech." Of course this was just a front for their smuggling
operation. They stole the AT-PMs, and the plan was completely theirs. They
got the valuable walkers, but have made enemies of Talon Karrde, Lando
Calrissian, and the New Republic. Bad enemies.
