I believe he will gain his third player in as many years when we start the campaign up on February 3. Note that this item is set in the M&LGH timeline, where DEII and EE, as well as vols. 2 and 3 of Jedi Academy, CotJ, and Darksaber never happened. The holocron therefore still exists. Asher D'Jackaral Born and raised on a mining world called Tygad, Asher was always something of a misfit among misfits. His father Marb, a geologist, lived on Tygad for many years, but was killed when Thrawn's Empire took control of the planet. Asher fled with a ragtag group led by a former outlaw and a New Republic bureaucrat. As a child, Asher had been rather clairvoyant, which disturbed many of his neighbors and provided him with a fair amount of odd fascination. Asher focused a fair amount of effort into developing his skills when he realized this indicated strong Force sensitivity. He had achieved what he later figured out was perhaps adept level when he left Tygad, powerful enough that he really stopped working on his skills for some time. The band he was with had some fairly high connections in the New Republic government (the bureaucrat, an employee of the New Republic Diplomatic Corps, managed to finagle a DiploCorps assignment of some sort), but despite the presence of another ex-Jedi student, the retired smuggler Devta Sharanim (later to become founder of the Motesta Circle and one of the major financial backers in Garm Bel Iblis' organization), Asher felt compelled to leave the group after a year or two due to the problems generated by one Jarol Fett, a two-bit triggerhappy bounty hunter who claimed to be Boba's brother, who had been singlehandedly responsible for the failure of several legitimate business ventures and bringing down the wrath of the crime organization of the Rodian Tedra zSutta on the entire party. The party joined Bel Iblis shortly before his return to the Republic, and carried out a covert mission to rescue a key member of Bel Iblis' command structure from a prison planet called Drakayza. After Fett, who had joined Bel Iblis' organization some months prior to the party's arrival (long story), rejoined the party and then committed an act of gross insubordination, Asher left the party (as it so happened, Devta had left for much the same reason over a year ago, though he was also connected with Bel Iblis and had paid for some much-needed ship improvements). After a few months, Asher connected with Devta in the town of Motesta on Tatooine, where Devta had begun the now-famous Motesta Circle, an organization devoted to Jedi history. The whole operation was moved to Yavin when Luke Skywalker began the Jedi Academy. Asher completed his Jedi training there, and is now a full Jedi.
