Force Points: 2 Character Points: 15 Move: 10 Equipment: Heavy blaster pistol (5D), comlink, datapad, tool kit, the Floating Vagabond Capsule: Gael Okona is cut from the same cloth as Lando Calrissian, Janstren Brell and Salishh Tilloman (see 'Heroes & Rogues') as he is a thorough rogue. He was born on and raised on the rough, filth-ridden streets of Shesharile VI. Theft and violence were a way of life. But Gael was a smart young man who realized that the only way to succeed was by entering into the employ of the planet's absolute ruler, Yerkys ne Dago. The crimelord took him in and allowed him to purchase a used deep space medium transport ship, the Floating Vagabond, for the purpose of making illegal spice runs for him throughout the Cluster. Okona's superior piloting skills, business savvy, and quick wit allowed him to rise quickly in ne Dago's organization. Eventually he became so good that he was one of ne Dago's favorites and was allowed the privilege of taking on independent runs, so long as ne Dago could call on him when needed. Today, Okona works as a free-trader, taking whatever and whoever he can get. He still is in debt to ne Dago for 40,000 credits for the Floating Vagabond but does enough business - both legal and illegal - to make his monthly payments...so far.
