This simple hyperdrive is designed to be fitted onto any Z-95 that uses fixed atmospheric surfaces, possess equipment pylons, and is not hyperdrive capable, ranging from the -XT to the -af4. When mounted to the Z-95, it wraps along the underside of the fuslage, around the wing roots and ion engines, and along the underside of the wings. This covers the landing gear bays (which are emptied and fitted with control computers) and any undersurface mounted pylons. To accommodate the fuel for the hyperdrive, dagger-like fuel cells extend for and aft from the mid point of the wing. Other itmes in this system are new mounting points for the original landing gear, atmospheric maneuvering repulsors, and heavy-duty pylons, to increase the external payload of the ship. Not a widely encountered modification package, it still widely sought after by mercs and bounty hunters. It is not uncommon for them to add a astromech droid brain to the system, which serves as a co-pilot, navigator and maintenance advisor. A number of these have also shown up within the Rebellion, where they are used in lue of Y- and X-wing fighters in some sectors. Other items that are used in conjunction with frequently ignored pylons include extra weapons and consumable pods for extended range. model: Subpro HS-95 hyperdrive sled era introduced: Height of the Empire type: add-on hyperdirve sled scale: starfighter length: it adds 1.5 meters to the length of most variants of the Z-95 cost: 15,000 hyperdrive multiplier: x3 pylons: Max: 30D 3/4: 22D 1/2: 15D 2 inboard wing pylons (at wingroot) (12D@) 2 outboard wing pylons (6D@) installation difficulty requires 3 Difficulty, 6 Moderate and 4 Easy Starfighter Repair rolls, with a total of twelve hours required to mount it. This is a perminant mounting, and removal is just as difficult. CyberRaven Kevin Dole Dreamwalker http://www.Geocities.com/Area51/Dimension/4151/welcome.html "The person is smart.
