   The new RB-94 is one of the Empire's first attempts to create a
machine with crowd control as its primary purpose.  Poorly suited
to heavy combat, the RB-94 nevertheless is quite effective against
poorly armed crowds of civilians.  The arm weapons (particularly
the saw) and the loudspeakers are there for show; in heavy combat
against rebels, blaster mounts would have been much more effective.
[Rebel agents are known to capture and modify the RB-94 in such a
way.]  However, when wading through a crowd of civilians, nothing
is quite as terrifying as seeing mutilated corpses flying through
the air.
   The RB-94's greatest flaw lies in the lack of cover for its
pilot.  Design analysts decided that a greater field of vision was
necessary for the RB-94 to maintain effectiveness.  This led to the
dismantling of the side blast shields, leaving 50% more body space
of the pilot open to enemy fire.  Analysts countered that this
would not be a factor since heavy fire zones would not be
encountered by the RB-94.
   All in all, this vehicle is particularly well suited to its
purpose, if that is all it is well suited for.
