Planet Name: O'ren II Function: Manufacturing/Processing Government: Military Dictatorship (Rebel) Planet Type: terrestrial Terrain: Plains Temperature: Temperate Gravity: Standard Atmosphere: Type 1(breathable) Hydrosphere: Moderate Length of Day: 33 hours Length of Year: 165 days Sapient Species: Human Starport: Stellar class Population: 1.9 million Tech Level: Space Major Exports: high tech computers and repulsorlift vehicles Major Imports: Military Equipment and fifth-degree droids WARNING! You are cautioned against travelling to this world, as it is in a state of armed rebellion against the Empire. Aiding this rebel government is considered a criminal act by Imperial Proclamation #8265. On this planet, the civilian military leaders rose up and defeated the Imperial garrison (small as it was) and took over the planet in a military dictatorship. A section of the populace, loyal to the Emperor, rebelled against this aggressive action, and began a war against these military leaders. Their goal is to dispose these leaders so that the Empire can come back. The Imperial presence in this sector is small, and the resources to retake the planet just aren't available at this time. Once the Rebellion is crushed, the Empire will move in and crush these upstart rulers. Note: this government has no ties to the rebel alliance. They wish to remain neutral in this conflict, and want to be left alone. Presently the resistance fighters are low on supplies-food, weapons, and medical supplies. The leaders of this resistance group are the family of Captain Corin Trellis, Commanding officer of the Imperial Interdictor Cruiser "Immobilizer". He has kept in contact with his family, and knows of their supply needs. He has made several requests to his superiors for aid for his family, and the resistance, but the only reply he has received has been, "The resources are not available at this time." He is presently making plans to take the matter into his own hands. He would be courtmartialed if he outright attacked the planet, in defiance of his orders, but he has plans to get supplies from his own ship to the resistance. Now, if only the right group of traders/smugglers would fall into his gravity wells (hint, hint).
