I thought someone out there might like axcess to it. Please send any thoughts or questions to: < C.West@eWorld.com > PLANET TANDAIRNE Dominant Species: Human 49% Nevranie 30% (More Later) Dracon 17% (More Later) Other 4% Other Species: Bantha (wild) Dewback (wild) Vegetation: Dune-Grass Dune-weed Planetary Phase: Youth (young planet) No. of Moons: one (Seboirke) Gravity : Slightly high, but human-compatible Atmosphere: Average oxygen levels (breathable by humans) High Humidity Topography: Predominantly Volcanic Barren Sands, Igneous Rock (Deserts, Mountains) Precipitation: Steam clouds, spewed from planet surface. (dangerous) + special precip. from moon. Oceanography: Sea is molten rock, not water. Ocean is centered around Equator, with 2 continents centered at north and south poles. Ocean is crusted with rock near shores. Constantly shifts from solid to liquid. Resources: Steam wells; Igneous minerals; Rare metals. General Data: Frequent earthquake activity. Water source: Steam wells and pools. Seasonal Cycle: (233day/year) Spring- low seismic activity Summer- sea mostly molten; high steam levels Autumn- high seismic activity Winter- sea mostly crusted; low steam levels MOON: SEBOIRKE Lifeforms: None. Atmosphere: Super-heated steam, erupting fom the moon's surface. Composition: The body is composed primarily of liquid water, with a dense core of molten metal that heats the water to a boiling temperature. Lunar Path: 1 revolution around the planet = 20 days. Revolves directly around the planet's equator. Lunar Effects: The close proximity of the moon to the planet allows the gravity of Tandairne to draw water fom the atmosphere of Seboirke, which descends in the form of a constant, cool rain to the planet below. This water is cooled as it passes through an "atmospheric funnel" between the two bodies. Additionally, the gravity of Seboirke, has an effect on the surface of Tandairne. The moon's gravity draws the molten mass of the planet closer to the surface, like a tide. This causes the ocean's crust to become liquid directly beneath the moon. This liquid area moves with the moon, as it revolves around the planet. Astrologic History: These two bodies formed together. As time passed, their gravities drew them closer together, and the atmospheric funnel developed. Eventually, they will collide and the water of Seboirke will wash over the surface of Tandairne. It has been speculated that the impact of Seboirke's core may very well destroy Tandairne. Only a matter of years are left until this event, so its resources have begun to be carelessly exploited by certain interest groups, namely the Empire. SPECIES DESCRIPTIONS Nevranie: The Nevranie are a race of small creatures, about the size of Jawas. They are predominantlyburrowing creatures, most choosing to live in the vast desert regions surrounding the human cities. However, many have chosen to move into the cities out of fear of the Dracon. They are small, hairy folk with long arms, and scooped claws for burrowing. They are a fundamentally peaceful, nomadic people who live in large groups, and occasionally hunt a bantha or dewback for food and supplies. They are not highly intelligent, but make up for this by working well as a group. Dracon: The Dracon are, as the name implies, a race of what can only be called dragons. They are larger than your average fighter, and can certainly fly. (Although not quite as quickly.) They have a red to red-brown coloration, of varying shades. They are highly intelligent, and contrary to local myth, are not evil in any way. Indeed, they are a very peacefull race, that has been persecuted by the other races of Tandairne. They feed on the dewback and bantha populations, and avoid the other races. They enjoy basking in the heat that allows them to be active, and nest in the igneous cliffs and peaks. The Dracon are innately force-sensitive, and communicate with one another telepathically. They have the following force-related or natural abilities: Flight, Levitation, Fire-breathing, Empathy, Mental Blast*, Instill Fear, and Telepathy*. (* indicates that this power can only be used on force-sensitive individuals.) Note: The Dracon can understand the Basic language perfectly, but they are unable to speak it, and have never encountered another being with which they can communicate. The food supply of the Dracon is being quickly consumed by the rapidly-growing human population, and many Dracon are, in fact, preparing to go to war to protect their means of survival.
